ENERGY AND ENVIRONMENTAL For the Upstream Oil and Gas Industry in Western Canada | |||
This program, initiated by CETAC-WEST in 2001, has taken the Eco-Efficiency concept and applied it to the Upstream Oil and Gas Industry. Through the program, practical and economic solutions to energy conservation have been sought, tested and discussed.
Since its inception, the program has evolved to include several components: Integrated Audits of natural gas processing facilities, technology demonstrations of new and innovative efficient technologies, and a study of facility performance indicators.

The program final report for the first phase of CETAC's Eco-Efficiency program is now available! Energy Conservation Solutions in Report Appendices:
Partial funding has been secured from Technology Early Action Measures (TEAM) and Western Economic Diversification (WD). The program is also supported by Alberta Energy, Alberta Environment, Environment Canada, and NRCan Office of Energy Efficiency.
