Round Table

CETAC-WEST's Round Table introduces your business case to a network of business and industry sector experts who can offer you practical advice and insights for your particular challenges.

Each Round Table session has a focus such as technology, market niche, financing or business strategy development. About six to ten people attend who have practical experience and expertise related to the focus. They could be part of your target market, technology specialists, or potential partners. Participants provide industry insights, offer advice to address the issues and offer guidance in identifying next steps and improving on your business strategy.

CETAC project managers work with you after the Round Table to help you move forward on the input received. The results of the process also reveal if there is potential to match you and your business to a mentor or Board of Advisors for a defined term.

Mentoring Program

CETAC's Mentoring Program can match you with an experienced business professional, or in some cases with an Advisory Board, to provide guidance and advice as required. It can be beneficial to have regular advice or a sounding board to address challenges and help stay on track, or to guide you in developing a particular business area.

Once a project is considered ready for financing, CETAC offers financial services including connections to CETAC's extensive investor network and coaching to prepare and properly present your project opportunity to potential investors. CETAC can also identify suitable government grants, loans and tax incentives for which you may qualify. Where appropriate, CETAC can assist you to seek appropriate partnering, and alliance opportunities and appropriate technology demonstrations may also be facilitated.
